Assistant Manager, Electrics

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assistant Manager, Electrics manages and supervises implementation of all lighting, projection and electrical needs for hangs, focuses, technical rehearsals, performances and strikes for all productions at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. Provides proactive leadership of the Electric Services office, encouraging and facilitating collaboration. Develops and executes routine maintenance plans for all electrics services equipment. Oversees the educational experience for the student employees of Electrics Services. Manages the annual maintenance and expenditures budget for electrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM: Bachelor's degree required, emphasis in Theatre preferred. Five years professional experience in professional theatrical lighting. Excellent knowledge of contemporary stage lighting technology; skills with electronic troubleshooting, computer networking, and practical working knowledge of contemporary theatrical projection equipment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Minimum: Experience programming Strand and ETC lighting consoles, experience overseeing projections in a theatrical setting, extensive experience supervising hang/focus crews, experience managing lighting needs for multiple simultaneous productions.

Preferred: Extensive experience setting and maintaining Strand 500 series consoles, Strand ShowNet, and Premiere networks; teaching experience at the college level; experience with media servers, video production, general computer networking, and rigging.
