Anastasya Terenkova
Age: Country of Birth: Country of Citizenship: Currently Residing In: Anastasya Terenkova began her studies in piano at the Moscow Gnessin's Special School of Gifted Children. Since 2001, Ms. Terenkova has studied at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris with G. Pludermacher, F. F. Guy and Jacques Rouvier. She regularly performs in solo and chamber recitals throughout France and abroad, and gave ten recitals across North America in 2005 and 2006. She is the Georges Cziffra Music Foundation Laureate (Paris, France) and Nadia and Lily Boulanger Foundation Scholarship recipient. Ms. Terenkova has played in master classes given by Rena Shereshevskaya, Jerome Rose, Fabio Bidini, Vladimir Krainev, Dimitry Bashkirov, Alexander Braginsky and Philippe Bianconi. She is a laureate of the 1994 Young Pianists Competition, Kils, Sweden; 1995 Stravinsky Award International Piano Competition, USA; 2000 Saint-Nom-la-Breteche International Piano Competition, France; 2002 Arcachon International Piano Competition, France; 2002 "Adilia Alieva" International Piano Competition, France; 2003 Epinal International Piano Competition, France; 2004 Cincinnati International World Piano Competition, USA (2nd Prize); and the 2006 Dorothy MacKenzie Artist Recognition Award, New York, USA (1st Prize). At present, she is a student of Jacques Rouvier at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris, where she also studies Chamber music with Itamar Golan. In addition, Ms. Terenkova is working on her Piano Master Diploma at ENM de Paris with S. Markarov. This season, she will be playing in Paris, Lyon, Colmar, Villecroze, Auditorium de Grenoble, Festivale d'Annecy and Auditorium de Louvre.
