Ticket Office Location and Hours
The ticket office is located in the lobby of the Clarice Smith Center. It is open 11 AM-9 PM, seven days a week during the season, and operates on a reduced schedule during breaks in the University's academic year. Call us for the latest schedule.Fees
Phone Charge: There is a $3 handling fee per order for tickets that are purchased over the phone (waived for subscribers).Ticket Exchanges And Donations
Tickets may be exchanged for another performance up to 24 hours in advance of the event with a $1 per ticket exchange fee (waived for subscribers). You may also donate your tickets to the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. Ticket donations are tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt to acknowledge your gift. Please contact the ticket office for information about donating your tickets.Lost Tickets
Please call or come to the ticket office and let us know you lost your tickets and we will be happy to reprint them for you. We will have them ready for you at the will-call window the night of the performance.Discounts
We offer a variety of discounts for events produced by the Center (detailed below):Subscribers: Buy tickets to five or more performances and get the subscription price—a savings of 20% off our single ticket price. Subscribers receive advance notice of upcoming events, priority seating, free ticket exchanges, and no handling fees on phone purchases.
Students: Any student is eligible to purchase tickets at the special rate of $7 per ticket. UM students may purchase up to two tickets at this rate with a valid student ID. All other students receive only one.
Senior Citizens: Patrons who are 62 years of age or older are eligible to receive a discount of $2 off the original ticket price.
Alumni: Active University of Maryland alumni are eligible to receive a discount of $2 off the original ticket price.
Groups: Groups of 20 or more are eligible to receive a discount of 20% off of the original ticket price.
