David Dorfman Dance
underground
In this multi-media riot of the senses, Dorfman explores the boundaries between activism and terrorism. Inspired by the militant Weathermen, a 1960s/1970s offshoot of Students for a Democratic Society, underground explores the inside world of political activism and poses large questions to present-day protesters, activists, war resisters and ordinary citizens. Does what you do make a difference? In a violent world, can you fight for peace?
There will be a Talk Back with David Dorfman after each performance.
This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
