Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra
Tõnu Kaljuste, founding director and conductor
Founded in 1981 and known as one of the best choirs in the world, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir makes a return visit to the Center to perform new works by Arvo Pärt, Vivaldi’s Beatus Vir and a rare offering of Estonian composer Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Requiem, from Architectonics VI. This virtuosic 28-voice ensemble lifts the soul in performance with the extraordinary musicians of the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
The artists will participate in an informal Meet and Greet in the lobby following the performance.
