Mark O’Connor - Solo Violin Recital
A tribute to the world of American violin, the performance will feature Mark’s own caprice compositions based on the Paganini caprices; tributes to his mentors, the famed jazz violinist Stefan Grappelli and legendary Texas fiddler Benny Thomasson; ragtime and bluegrass selections; and improvisations. The concert will culminate with Mark’s rendition of the Appalachia Waltz.
