UM School of Music: UM Symphony Orchestra 2009 Concerto Competition Prelims

Opening round of the annual competition in which students vie for the opportunity to perform as a featured soloist with the UM Symphony Orchestra. Students perform 6-8 minute excerpts of a concerto or concert piece for an independent jury panel. Seven to ten competitors will be named finalists, competing again on November 21.
