Who We Are
The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center is a vibrant community of artists, students and audiences, where great work happens both on- and offstage. We present approximately 1,000 events each year spanning all performing arts disciplines.
Transformative performances, workshops, lectures, dialogues and other events featuring visiting artists from around the world, as well as students and faculty from the university's academic departments of music, dance and theatre, allow for unparalleled engagement.

We are proud to contribute to your experience at the Clarice Smith Center.Not only is every day a learning experience for us but also it’s a learning experience for the students we supervise and mentor.
Sometimes we will have direct contact with you — fulfilling your ticket orders, replying to your emails or helping you to your seat.
Other times we will be behind the scenes — planning an exciting season of performances and special events, designing our wonderful season brochure, creating sets with quality lighting and sound, raising funds and balancing the budget, or talking with the media.

Student Employees
Student employees are integral to the work that takes place at the Clarice Smith Center.Not only do students work directly with our patrons but also they work directly with our artists, and like our student performers, they are constantly being recognized for their motivation and professionalism.
