The 2012 William Kapell International Piano Competition and Festival
Twenty-four brilliant young competitors from around the world. Seven solo artists. Two weeks of soul-stirring music. One grand celebration of the piano.
This quadrennial competition, named after the great American pianist William Kapell, is one of three American solo piano competitions currently a member of the prestigious World Federation of International Music Competitions.
In addition to competition rounds featuring exceptional young artists from around the world, the event will include performances by noted pianists as well as other public events — a celebration of all things piano.
